Day 01 : Arrival in Makassar - Drive To Rantepao
Upon arrival at Hasanuddin Airport Makassar, meeting services. Afterwards set out on the picturesque drive to Toraja. A drive from approx 7 hours along the Buginese villages with their typical houses. Lunch will be served in a seafood restaurant in Pare-Pare, precedes a scenic drive with many photo-stops en route. In the afternoon stop on the Puncak Lakawan to enjoy the spectacular view. Late afternoon arrive in Rantepao. Dinner and overnight at Hotel.
Day 02 : Full Day Exploring Toraja Tour
After breakfast, a full day exploring Toraja. First we will visit Lemo to see rows of Tau Tau statues and the hanging graves. Onwards to Suaya to discover the secret of the Baby Tree , Also visiting today Londa, to see an ancient grave where the deceased are entombed. At Kete Kesu one of the oldest Torajan villages we can see Tongkonan, and old rice barns, also famous for its traditional colorful woodcarving. Lunch in Rantepao. Dinner and overnight at Hotel.
Day 03 : Full Day Toraja Discovery Tour
After breakfast, another full day discovery tour of Toraja, this time visiting Pallawa, Sa'dan, known as the weaving center as well as Marante and Nanggala, traditional Torajan villages renowned for their large Tongkonans and rice barns. Lunch in Rantepao. Dinner and overnight at Hotel.
Day 04 : Full Day Batutumonga Trip
After breakfast, we set out on a full day trip to Batutumonga, enjoying superb views over Rantepao and surrounding valleys. Ideal for a long walk along the rice fields and through the daily Torajan live. Lunch in local restaurant in Rantepao . Dinner and overnight at Hotel.
Day 05 : Drive Back To Makassar - Departure
After breakfast, drive back to Makassar. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Pare-Pare. Then transfer directly to Hasanuddin Airport Makassar to catch your flight for your next destination.
