Day 01 : Arrival in Manado - Transfer to Tangkoko
Upon arrival in Manado airport, you will be met by our tour guide and then transfer you to Tangkoko National Park. Just relax after a long flight or have a beach or village walk or if you are not that tired, then a jungle trek into Tangkoko National Park can be done to see Tarsius (the smalles primate in the world). Back to homestay, dinner & overnight.
Day 02 : Tangkoko Jungle Trekking
If you were too tired yesterday then early morning jungle trek before dawn time will be done. Back to homestay for breakfast and then drive back to Manado. Check in at a hotel. In the afternoon, go to Shiatsu Massage & Spa center for relaxing. In the evening, you will be on your own for exploring Manado City and dinner.
Day 03 : Full Day Minahasa Highland Tour - Stay in Tomohon
At 8 am, check out from hotel and drive up to highlands of Minahasa for full day tour visiting many interesting places and at the end of the day, check in at one of the resorts in Tomohon.
Day 04 : Volcano Trek - Back to Manado
At about 7 am, you will be picked up by our guide and take you for volcano trek at Mt. Mahawu through farms and panoramic route. Lunch at Tondano Lake side restaurant and then drive back to Manado. Check in at a hotel. Dinner at a seaside restaurant in the suburb of Manado city.
Day 05 : Manado- Palu - Tentena
Today, you will take to airport and then fly to Palu, Central Sulawesi and upon arrival in Palu, you will be welcome by a local trekking guide and then drive you to Tentena. Check in at a hotel in Tentena.
Day 06: Tentena - Kolonedale
After breakfast in the hotel in Tentena we will drive in 6 hours to Kolonedale, the gateway to Taman Morowali a nature reserve. This route is magnificent and located between tropical jungle mountains. We will lunch in on our way and at the end of the afternoon we will arrive in Kolonedale for our dinner and overnight stay.
Day 07: Kolonedale - Morowali National Park
After our breakfast in the hotel we will leave for our journey over the Tomori bay by Perahu (a traditional outrigger boat) to the start point of the trekking. After about 6 hours trekking and crossing some small rivers we will finally arrive in traditional village of the Wana people. We will lunch and dinner in this traditional village and sleep in a simple hut.
Day 08: Morowali Day with Wana People
It’s a free day today. You have plenty time to making a walk in this beautiful area, to swim in crystal-clear Morowali river. But you can also learn from the locals how to shoot with a traditional Wana blowpipe. We will stay at the village for overnight.
Day 09: Morowali Jungle Trekking
After the lunch we will say goodbye to the village people and walk with our Wana-guide trough the tropical jungle to the edge of the lake. We will fish on the lake in traditional tree canoes. Our guide will prepare the catched fish for dinner; we will spend this night back to basic in natural bamboo shelter.
Day 10 : Morowali - Kolonedale
After breakfast we will cross lakes by canoe and a fabulous lagoon. After we arrive at the edge of the lake we will make a short walk to the Perahu (a traditional outrigger boat). We will go by this Perahu to Kolonedale and stay here for dinner and overnight.
Day 11 : Kolonedale - Pendolo - Toraja
After our breakfast we will have a long drive to Toraja/Rantepao via Pendolo. Upon arrival in Toraja, check in at a hotel
Day 12 - 15 : Toraja Trekking Days
During these days, you will do trekking and tour arround Toraja Land.
Day 16 : Drive to Makassar
Drive to Makassar through panoramic route, lunch will be had at Puncak Lalawan. Upon arrival in Makassar, you will directly transfered to a hotel.
Day 17 : Makassar City Tour (Optional) - Airport Transfer
Free program in the morning or make a short Makassar City Tour until the time to transfer you the airport for your next destination
